I never really thought I'd need to write such journal but because you ask really a lot (

) it may make some things clear.
Q: Are your works crocheting or tatting?
A: Neither of them. I really can't do crocheting or tatting. All of my works are pure bobbin lace. Here is what
Wikipedia says about bobbin lace:
Bobbin lace is a lace textile made by weaving lengths of thread, which are wound on bobbins to manage them. As the work progresses, the weaving is held in place with pins set in a lace pillow, the placement of the pins usually determined by a pattern or pricking pinned on the pillow.
It looks like this:

(No, it's not my pillow, it's from wikipedia, too. I will try to post my own pillow one day.

)
Q: Do you create your patterns yourself?
A: Usually not, because I don't have many ideas and almost no drawing skills. However, I still do modify the patterns and the techniques used in them. And some of them actually are my own.
I hope this was a bit helpful. If you have more questions, ask me and I'll add them.
